COLOUR BLOCK SCARF
We absolutely love this colour block scarf pattern, especially with the addition of the pom poms at the bottom. A gorgeous DIY gift that you could really make your own using different colour combinations. This pattern calls for aran weight yarn which you can now find in ball, hank and cone form (and in a range of beautiful colours) on our website. Find the free pattern here.

YARN WRAPPED LETTERS
If you’re wanting to make something for a grandparent, or just want an activity to do with your kids this Mother’s Day, this is the one for you. These adorable wrapped cardboard letters are so easy to make and the design possibilities are endless! You could use them to spell out names or words, or make one for each family member using their initials. This is a great project idea to use up all of the smaller amounts of yarn that you have leftover, as well as all of that cardboard from the many online orders! Find out how to make these yarn wrapped letters here.
Earlier this month, we shared our easiest crochet heart pattern for you to use for Valentine’s Day – so in case you missed your opportunity to give it a go, why not use this pattern to make a Mother’s Day gift. You could add a loop of yarn at the top to make a door hanging, or string a few together to make a heart garland. Find the full tutorial here, it’s so easy to do so don’t be scared of it if you’ve never crocheted before!
